Scotland is an amazing myco-tourism destination, boasting a vast resource of woodlands and other habitats where one can discover the wonderful diversity of Caledonian fungi.

People visit Scotland for many reasons including its beautiful fungi. Fungi Weekend Breaks or week long group packages are available tailored to individual requirements.

Last year Nev led 27 members of the Danish Mycological Society for a week based at Kindrogan Field Studies Centre, near Pitlochry, in Perthshire. We visited 8 sites and recorded over 120 species each day! Many rare and unusual species were recorded, including Lactarius repraesentaneus (3 times!) and Camarops polysperma (2nd record for Britain).

Kindrogan Staff offered excellent accommodation and full board which was greatly appreciated after a long day in the field.
